Pumpkin Carving

Jon and Ava carved a pumpkin last weekend. Ava was super excited about it until she saw the inside of the pumpkin and decided she was better off holding the bag for Jon. Maybe next year she will get more ambitious.

Went to the Apple Orchard with Jon's sister and her kids. We had lots of fun even though there weren't too many apples left on the trees. We still found a few and the kids got to spend some time together and burn some energy!

Corn Maze

We enjoyed the beautiful day yesterday at Sever's Corn Maze in Shakopee. Jon and I haven't been there for a few years and they have a TON of activities now. Ava had a BLAST! It will be on our list of things to do in the Fall next year.

About a month ago Ava wanted to sleep on her floor. After a few days of that, I asked why she didn't want to sleep in her bed anymore and she informed it was too small. So since she decided it was time to move up, it was a nice transition.

Last weekend the Skaudis family came down to visit and we took them to the Children's Museum. Everyone had fun and the kids get along so well! They pick up right where they left off just like we adults do. We wish we all lived closer so we could see each other more often but the times we do are great! Thanks Skaudis family for coming to visit us!

Ava Turns 3!

We had a low-key night at home last night to celebrate Ava's birthday. We let her pick anything she wanted for dinner. First she picked peanut butter and jelly and then changed her mind to Burger King and had chicken nuggets and apple fries. Jon picked up a little cake for her and we all enjoyed some of it. Can't believe she is 3 already!
