New Discovery

First Easter

Ava enjoyed her first Easter. She got some new Little People toys from the Easter Bunny and then hunted for eggs at Great Aunt Sue's. She even found the egg with the $1! Such a lucky girl.

Standing!

Ava is in the process of learning how to stand up on her own using different objects around the house. We video taped this on Thursday and she has already progressed to having this pretty mastered with this little chair. She is now working on standing in her crib and using the couch for help. We will have trouble on our hands soon!

Sitting By Myself

About a week and a half ago, Ava's body caught up with her head and she was able to sit by herself. Jon and I were in the kitchen and turned around and there she was sitting in the dining room all by herself! She seems a lot happier now that she can get around on her own and sit and play and see everything around her. This milestone along with her crawling ALL over the place, has really been keeping us on our toes!

7 Months Old!

Here are Ava's 7 month pictures! She definitely is getting more hair and in the bottom picture you can even see her 2 teeth!

Crawling... Well Sort Of

Ava learned how to army crawl last weekend and is getting better at it each day. We caught her on tape this afternoon. She doesn't exactly get to her toy but she does get close. She gets a little tired on the way there and has to take a thumb break and rest her head.
