We had a low-key night at home last night to celebrate Ava's birthday. We let her pick anything she wanted for dinner. First she picked peanut butter and jelly and then changed her mind to Burger King and had chicken nuggets and apple fries. Jon picked up a little cake for her and we all enjoyed some of it. Can't believe she is 3 already! 
6 of the 21 cupcakes I made for Ava to take to daycare for her birthday. She saw them on a commercial on Nick Jr. and begged me to make them. Daycare said they were a big hit!
Last weekend was very eventful for Jon and Ava and so this is how they spent Sunday afternoon.
Ava helped pick out a new bath mat today and insisted on taking it to nap. When I went to turn her fan on, here is what i saw.

Betty at my work has been telling me Ava needs a pony for about a year now. Well, this week she showed up with one for her. She got it from a daycare behind her house that was getting rid of it and it is now a new addition to our house. Ava LOVES him, momma and papa think he's a bit large for the house :) She's named him Magnus after the horse on Tangled and he even makes noise and moves his head and tail.
Picking "flowers." We have none in our yard which has Ava telling me everyday, "I wish I had yellow flowers in my yard." But the foreclosure house next door has way more than enough to go around.
