Easter Weekend

We spent Easter in St. Cloud. Ava had a lot of fun looking for eggs and getting her Easter baskets from her grandparents. She got lots of good stuff and of course lots of candy too (which she thinks she needs for breakfast every morning now). Maybe next year we won't have to wear hats for the egg hunt!

Edinborough Park

We were going to head to the Children's museum today but then remembered it was State Hockey Tournament weekend and knew better than to go to St. Paul. So instead we tried a new place in Edina called Edinborough Park. It's a big indoor park with things to crawl on and slide down and bounce in. While they had a toddler area it was geared more for older kids so we will have to bring Ava back in a few years. She did enjoy burning some energy though while we were there.

We spent a couple of days in Duluth this past weekend. Friday night Ava had her first hotel stay so we could spend some time with Uncle Jake. I of course didn't get any pictures of him with Ava but we still had a good time going to dinner and coming back to swim.

Saturday we met the Skaudis family at the Children's Museum in Duluth. They also have a train museum in the same building which was also a hit with the kids. They sure are becoming best buds as they get older!

Zoo Day

Jon had to ref hockey this morning so Ava and I decided to visit the Zoo. It's her favorite place these past couple of months. The other day she even informed me she wants to be a Zookeeper when she grows up, that was until we saw the new show on NickJr. called Bubble Guppies when she then informed me she wants to be a mermaid when she grows up :)
