Rolling & Giggling

As promised here is a video of Ava rolling from her back to her tummy. It takes a minute for her to do it so keep watching. We also haven't figured out how to separate videos taken on the same day so after her big roll she plays a little peek-a-boo with papa and really shows off her giggles!

5 Months Old

Such a big girl! Time continues to fly. Today Ava rolled from her back to her stomach (we still have to catch it on tape) and she also starting cutting her first tooth on Friday!

Santa Gifts

Ava opened her Santa gifts on Saturday. Like every other day this week opening gifts, she would much rather eat the paper than see the gift. Mama had to have some quick hands in the past few days to make sure we didn't get too many extra paper calories.

Christmas Day

We spent Christmas Day with my dad. Ava got this adorable chair from her Auntie Randi. It is just the right size for her!

Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve at my mom's. Ava decided she was too excited for Christmas and did not take a nap for very long that day, hence the no smiles in her Christmas dress. Here she is also the next morning in her Christmas pj's.

Bath Time

Swimming!

We attended the Kraemer Christmas yesterday at the Holiday Inn in St. Cloud. Ava was able to try out swimming for the first time and since she loves taking baths, the pool was a great success!

Wiggle Worm!

As many of you know, Ava is quite the mover. Well lately at night she feels the need to not stay in one place and here are a couple of positions I found her in last week when I went to get her ready for daycare. And yes, she is sound asleep in both of these pictures! What a silly girl. Jon and I decided she needs a bigger crib because she's been waking up in the middle of the night from hitting her head against the railing. Anyone know of any gigantic cribs we could purchase?
