4 Months Old

Ava had her 4 month check up today. She weighs 13 lbs. 15 oz. and is 26 inches long! She continues to amaze us with the things she can do. The time is going way to fast! We are looking forward to her first Thanksgiving this week and while she won't be enjoying any turkey, we think she might get to try a little cereal.

Halloween

Ava wore her "My First Halloween" shirt to daycare today and then tonight she visited the neighbors as Supergirl! We think she could save anyone's day with her smile :)

Rolling Over!

Ava rolled over from her stomach to her back tonight for the first time. We caught it on video the second time she did it and then everytime we placed her on her tummy she kept doing it. She's a rolling machine!

3 Months Old

Baptism

Ava was baptized today and was a very good girl for the day! She only cried when they poured the water on her head. My sister Randi and Jon's brother Jake are the Godparents (the pic above).

2 Months Old

Here are Ava's 2 month onesie pics (only 2 weeks late) along with a pic of her all grown up in her new cardigan. She had her check up last month and weighed 10 lbs. 14 oz. and was 22 inches long. She started cooing in the past few weeks and loves to sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star with mama!

Such A Big Girl

Ava is a big girl now. She FINALLY found her thumb which is an answer to our prayers since she hates her nuk. Monday night she missed one of her usual feedings so I went to check on her and there she was sucking away. So now she is only getting up once in the middle of the night. Let's hope this is the new normal ;)

1 Month Old

Ava turned 1 month old this week. Time is flying and she is growing like a weed. Here are a couple pictures from the past week to show you how big she is getting. She learned how to smile at us this past week and this weekend she decided to be a ham for the camera so I got some pretty fun pictures of her. The pictures of her in her white onesie I am going to take each month. It's actually a 12 month onesie so everyone can see how she continues to grow throughout her first year.

2 Weeks Old

Ava is a little over 2 weeks old now. She is growing fast and we know time will only go faster as she continues to grow. Here are a couple pictures of her sleeping in her favorite spot, her swing. For those of you wondering, her head support are bear ears so she looks like a little cub when she is sleeping. We love the swing and would be lost without it. Ava also enjoys sleeping on Jon's lap, he is just the right length for her to sleep. She definitely has him wrapped around her finger already. Today we tried the bouncy chair and found that we enjoyed it so much we didn't take an afternoon nap ;)
